Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, meet & greet by our representative. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Then visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Centre Post office, City Hall & China Town. Transfer to Binh Tay market for shopping. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi was an important base during the American War, because of its stragetic location. The Vietcong built a 200 km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals , shelter & weapon factories. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools withoutthe use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue with city tour visiting War Remnants Museum, the former Presidential Palace & shoppingat Bnh Tanh market. Also visit a mosque in Ho Chi Minh City, built in 1935 by Indian Muslims. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, drive to My Tho through fertile paddy fields. On arrival visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Take a boat cruise along the tributaries of the Mekong Rver for a close up view of local life. Wander through Thoi Son Island & orchards where a hugh variety of tropical fruits can be tasted.Watch the people tending Bonsai plants in their gardens. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, back to Ho Chi Minh City for shopping. After dinner, back o hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, free at own leisure until transfer to airport for flight back home.
